The young man can't see it, he can't feel it but he knows it's everywhere. It doesn't distinguish between gender, young or old, poor or rich. The virus is out there and it will get him sooner or later. He needs to get out of the town, out of this country where so many are dying . The queue in front of the BA desk is long, and he prays that he's able to get one of the tickets for the last flight out of Genoa.

For years, I stayed invisible, letting the world move on without me. But when my college life started after COVID, a new boy walked in my life... and suddenly my past refused to stay quiet. Everything I thought I'd escaped came crashing back !
