I wrote this short story as an assignment for my English class and was encouraged to post it. The story may be confusing at first because it is written as a frame narrative, but please be patient with me. This is my first complete story, so I understand there may be errors. I welcome constructive criticism, but please be polite because I have the confidence of a chicken nugget.
