Fourteen years ago our country was at war. People slaughtering each other, killing because of the anger they possessed for their own race. Or, that was what we were told anyway. Nobody knew exactly why or how the war started but it was supposedly the most deadly war that the country had ever faced. The war didn't stay on battlefields, it raged through the streets, tearing apart cities and families, leaving nothing but death and destruction in its path. In that war, I lost my parents. My siblings and I were left to be orphaned. We've spent the last fourteen years all around the country, trying to manage living in foster care. It was difficult due to the fact that we wanted to stay together. Not many people had the guts to take in a group of teenagers, never mind the fact that we were triplets. It was easier when we were kids, all cute and sweet, but now that we are older, it has become a lot more difficult. When Reneé moves into her new foster home, she is exposed to a whole new world and quickly discovers that life isn't as simple as it's always appeared. Thrust into a world with witches, demons, werewolves and more, will Reneé and her brothers be able to survive? Or will the real truth crush them alive?
