The girl who lost it all (rough draft)

What do you do when you're stranded in a world you know nothing about? How do you win a game where the odds are stacked against you?

Emberlynn doesn't see herself as anything other than ordinary and unimportant. Her goals in live rely on her getting a good education and getting a good job, but things get derailed when weird circumstances begin to happen just months before her seventeenth birthday- where she ends up stranded in a world that is nothing like her own.
The land is gorgeous. The plants are deadly, and a weird prophecy that claims Emberlynn is the missing "key" to their salvation. With strange creatures out to get her, and rumors about another girl, Emberlynn finds herself stuck on a journey by people she is supposed to trust, but could easily be leading her astray.

Will Emberlynn's wits be enough to get her out of this circumstance? Will she find herself fulfill the prophecy that the citizens claim is about her? Most importantly will she find a way to escape that nightmare with her life, and return to the world that she knows?
