The infection is unknown to everybody, but is clearly dangerous. The people turned by this 'infection' have become Ghoul like beings. These Ghouls are called the 'Ruptured' they are basically zombies. But some haven't become Ruptured, they've become super humans, the 'perfect beings'. Their powers are seemingly unlimited, but some are stronger than others. Their are four dominating clans, the 4K, The League, Newmans, and Brotherhood. It is unknown which clan is the strongest, but most people think it is 4K. The 4K's leader was a quarterback Jock in High School before the bombs fell. The four dominating clans leader's powers are unknown, but the strongest. But there is a looming man with a very powerful power, nobody knows what it is, but it's strong. He goes by Beast, this is the name given to him by everybody. The previous dominating clans leaders was killed by Beast. The only known clan that lived is 4K. This story follows Adam, a regular dude from high school. He was just amother guy in school. But he ended up with a power, a very powerful power. Will he become the strongest man in the wasteland and stay down the good path, or will power consume him and turn him evil. Will he get killed by the Beast, or kill the Beast? Only time knows....
