And Ciel also tell him that his timeline had already destroyed so he cannot go back after hearing that Rimuru start to feel a lot of emotion inside him sadness regret and pain all the emotions you can think of come to him at once and start to make him go insane In the end, Ciel find a way to time travel to the past but risk is to high it can destroy rimuru's Spiritual body, if anything goes wrong. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles.
