Katherine Collins is a, weird, isolated, "freak", who goes to high school In the 80's. Katherine is often called a "freak" for her style, interests, and overall manner because she is quite the different person. She has been obsessed with the paranormal ever since her mother passed away seven years ago, on one of her "quests for truth" she opens up a portal and a ghost is stuck in her reality. This ghost is named Nathaniel and has been alone and dead for years. Kat being the only one who is able to talk, see, and interact with this strange being becomes friends with him. They both share a lot of similarities, resulting in Nathaniel helping Kat cope with her abusive father and deceased mother.
Kat starts to develop strange feelings for Nathaniel, ones she's never felt for ANYONE. This fuels her burning question, is this all just a delusion?
