Follow the tale of two brothers in the Roman Republic. Quintus Lebenius, a slender and shrewd man, and Marcus Lebenius, a burly but dense man. They live a mundane life in the frontier of the province of Cisalpine Gaul, under constant threat of barbarian invasion and schemes of Roman politicians.
Despite these constant dangers, their life remains mostly quiet and comfortable. They live in a remote area with little importance in the surrounding region. With many servants to attend to their various whims and guards to ensure their well being, very little of the greater world beyond crossed their mind.
With such an easy life, what more could they ask for? What could possibly go wrong?

Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off.
