Natalie Ross is an 18 year old young woman with a passion for poetry and the arts.
On morning just like any other, she prepares to leave on a train for college. But when she finds she is seated next to another young woman heading to the same college, they begin to talk, the conversation turning into more of a debate, as she finds they have very differing views.
I will not make this one of those sappy non-christian-meets-christian-and-after-a-while-non-christian-becomes-a-christian. Because while sometimes those types of movies/books to have something to say, they aren't as deep and intricate as I wish they'd be.
This will be a fictional debate, so don't expect train to blow up or an alien invasion to start. But I'd still appreciate it if you read this, if only to see what I have to say.
I WILL BE FAIR TO BOTH SIDES!
I will use the best arguments on both sides, just keep in mind, I am writing from a Christian perspective.
Warning, I will be talking about abortion and gay marriage/sex, thus the PG-13 rating.

Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. Women are resigned to the knowledge that if they are not married by the time they are twenty five that they never will be. They have limited choices once they are shelved. Martha chooses to go against the wishes of her family. She will spend the rest of her life taking care of her widowed Father as opposed to working and giving all her money to her younger female cousins to supplement their dowry. Fate and time has a different plan. Martha is drawn into a battle between The 19 and The Wild Roses. Two different factions each wanting to use and twist Martha for their own ambitions.
