That's what they think until they realize that they have traveled to a place, separated from civilization, where supernatural things happen, every way you go is leading to where you've come from, hallucinating you, keeping you forever inside. Once you've entered, you can't leave.

And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!"
