Bound In Blood

I looked around at the sight before me, blood splattered every last inch of the dungeon room. This battle had not been an easy one, a bloodbath none the less. I could still feel their steely gazes resting on the back of my neck, I shivered. Approaching footsteps made me stiffen, preparing for another fight, but that was not so. He became visible in the door way, holding his hand out for me to take, expectant. I hesitated and he nodded, finally I let him lead me away from the dead bodies piling on the cold, marble floor.
