Story ended and believe Jo and Laurie were meant to be together. So I'm writing them a happier ending. This story take place right after Beth dies and Amy comes home from Europe, however she returns engaged, not married to Laurie.

Also I wrote this in middle school! My writing low key sucks so don't be too judgmental. After reading "Jo and Laurie" by Stohl and De La Cruz, I was unsatisfied. In this tale, I have taken some elements of their plotline and made it my own. This is how I would have wanted the re-telling to look like, a lot more relationship building, character building, and reality. I intend to give Jo and Laurie the "Hollywood ending" we all dream of, while still making the story feel real.
