Relationships are fragile and can burst at any moment, just like bubbles. Anna Keely is a junior in high school, and relationships have never worked out for her. She doesn't need boys; they're all obsessed with their looks and what arm candy they use each week. Kile Covington is a generic, popular, white boy, and Anna's bully since second grade. They avoid each other at all costs, but when they are paired together for an English project that is half their grade, the inevitable happens; Anna finds that she doesn't want to be single forever and that maybe, just maybe, blowing a bubble is sometimes worth the risk of popping.

Brandon Jennings is one of the most popular guys at his school, and he's been dating Amy for God knows how long. Lysander Carrow is the nerd of the school, even though he's not exactly as nerdy as people make it out to be. Benjamin Stanton is the school's bad boy. Not only does he sleep with anything that has boobs and a pulse but he's also a complete ass. ._._._._._. Amy has never been the best at picking. In fact, she hated trying to pick between things because it confused her. But what happens when Amy has to choose between her boyfriend, who has been her best friend since birth. The bad boy whom she hated with a passion. Or... The school nerd?
