So before you read this, just a quick FYI wishes_and_after wrote this lyric, based on every basic start of a break up situation, where neither he is forgetting about her, nor can she forget about him.
But in this case the girl has ditched the boy, and the boy is trying to forget about her, but finds it difficult to do so.
