One day Ember Hiuh gets captured by a slave owner and is forced to stay with him. It turns out he was her uncle, Unicur Hiuh. He is a bounty hunter and leaves her alone a lot. One day two Jedi come to visit her uncle. Ember ends up disrespecting the Jedi and her uncle threatens her. The Jedi manage to take her away to the Jedi Temple since she is force-sensitive.
