Seven year old Amelia Baylin grew up in Brooklyn New York. Everything was perfect. She had multiple friends and several family members. But everything changed when her family was killed by the bombing on September 11, 2001. Since then, she was brought into a foster home filled with abusive parents and roach infested bedrooms. To escape this treacherous life, Amelia ran away to live on the streets of Brooklyn. After several months of sleepless nights alone with the fear of death at any moment due to malnutrition, she decided to move locations to a place that might be better. There wasn't much food on the streets and sleeping in a dark alleyway wasn't doing her any good. Her age did not contribute to the new life she was trying to make. She was unable to get a job and not many people dropped money into her small coin jar. She would make about two dollars a day which is not enough to support her. Will Amelia ever go back to her foster home? Or will she be stuck living in poverty forever?

Realm Of Gods: Empress of Chaos by mars45hall
8 parts Ongoing Mature
Synopsis Amelia was once an ordinary girl on Earth-until the day her fate was rewritten. A cosmic rift tore through reality, pulling her into the unknown. Lost in the infinite abyss, she should have perished. Instead, she transcended. Chosen by chaos itself, she became something beyond mortal, divine, or eldritch understanding-the Primordial Goddess of Chaos. From The Void Beyond Existence, she watches. She does not rule, nor does she guide-not yet. But she knows all. She has seen civilizations rise and crumble, gods ascend and fall, and the echoes of a war that shook the very foundations of reality. Long ago, an Ancient War tore across existence-a war so great that its truths have been buried beneath myths, lost in time, and rewritten by those who came after. Demons, gods, angels, dragons, elves, beastkin, and mortals clashed in a struggle that shaped the very fabric of reality itself. The war ended, but its true consequences remain unseen. From the remnants of that conflict, new races rose to power, forging realms of their own. Kingdoms, empires, and divine dominions flourished in the aftermath, unaware of the deeper truths that lie hidden beneath their foundations. They believe themselves to be the rulers of their own fate, blind to the forces that still linger in the shadows. But whispers persist-of something beyond gods and mortals, of a force that predates creation itself. Some call it myth. Others, prophecy. And in the darkest corners of existence, a cult whispers secrets long forgotten, waiting for the day when the old gods return. And Amelia? She watches. She has waited long enough. Fate is moving once more.
The Marquess of Winchester by tonevastefanova
47 parts Complete
Amelia's been on the streets since she can remember. She was abandoned by her mother on the doorstep of an orphanage run by nuns and was later thrown out of there too due to her unruly and 'unladylike' behaviour. She's been surviving on the streets for many years, stealing for food, rummaging in bins for clothes, scraps of metal or wood, which she uses as makeshift appliances, decorations and weapons. She's had a tough life, but it's made her into the strong, independent and fiery woman she is today. Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil. They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil. Along the way, they recruit five other individuals each experienced in a different area of magic. Who will love and who will hate? Who will even live to tell the tale? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first draft, I've edited it along the way but the more I revisit and edit the better it wil get. 20 parts Complete
It's me with another 9/11 story bc I have some weird stomach bug North Tower. She's an 11-year-old Manhattan native in the sixth grade. This girl loves reading, writing, art, and spending time with the best twin sister in the world. She also captains a team in one of the most well-known junior ice hockey leagues in the country. The only odd thing about her? She is the heart and soul...of one of the most famous buildings in New York City. Even that isn't very odd, at least not until the building comes crashing down one seemingly normal Tuesday morning. South Tower. 2001 is gonna be HER YEAR! Well...of course she's sharing it with her sister. Her silver hair, piercing silver eyes, and pale silver skin make her stand out from the millions of New Yorkers around her. Unlike her sister, she shines bright between the pipes as an extremely talented young goaltender. Everything else about her is the same as her sister, so they get along very well. South Tower really loves being a twin. Especially a Twin Tower. Trevor. He is twenty-one years old and just started working as a financial advisor in the 7 World Trade Center building. Living and working in bustling, colorful Lower Manhattan was his dream throughout all of his mostly boring Oklahoma childhood, and now he finally gets to do it for real! But one hot Tuesday morning in mid-September changes his New York City life in ways he never imagined. James. He's finally turning forty years old. He's the proud father of identical twin girls and the owner of a very successful Manhattan café. September 11 is going to be a very busy birthday for James! In addition to being a busy day, it will also be an emotional day. Especially when his daughters, the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, collapse and perish before his very eyes. Chapters are kinda short sorry ~COMPLETED!~ Word count: about 18k
