Sang just wanted a little space. She wanted out of the house, to have a little freedom before school started. She hadn't thought about the local wildlife. And she certainly hadn't planned to come face-to-face with a wolf.
This is a fanfiction based on C.L. Stone's Academy: GhostBird and Scarab Beetle series. All characters and rights go to her. No money is intended to be made off of this story.

Sang has always been a little bit different. She was made fun of for being a math-whiz in school up until she was kidnapped. Growing up in the crime world from a young age, she tried to do what she was told and keep her head down...but...that was easier said than done. Trouble seems to follow her like it's her middle name. Your prospects are limited when you don't exist, but Sang Sorenson has been getting by as a cashier in a grocery store after dropping out of high school. Most days, she's just glad to have some independence, but she's been drifting through her life for two years, too alone to realize she's lonely. The next day, she finds herself helping a young girl with a ...delicate purchase that the girl's older brother and his friend can't handle. And after a close call at home, she seeks help at a diner that recently opened down the street. It's been over a year since the Blackbourne team shattered into three separate teams, and they've all been dealing with the aftermath of a broken family. Though the new Lee and Taylor teams have done well for themselves, things just aren't the same. Then Sean stops by a little mom-and-pop grocery store after a long shift and discovers their bakery section. Kota and Nate take Jess bra shopping, and the cutest girl they've ever seen intervenes when they are less than helpful.
