Amara Crescent was killed by her boyfriend after a particularly bad fight, and wakes up as an infant in a new world. She grows up as a muggleborn witch, excited to learn about magic. Unfortunately she happened to be born in 1926, and as a girl a lot was expected of her. She's determined to start and finish her education without being sucked up into the storyline, she had no need of unwanted drama and romance, and didn't really care to become some doll and trophy wife. After the last of her family dies she ends up in Wool's Orphanage, where a familiar boy just so happens to live..... read as they grow tentatively as friends, then as lovers as they reshape the wizarding world in a way that benefits it the most.
