Kohaku, or "Spring," is a girl that lives in the City of Clouds, (雲の街), and has always been a free spirit living in the magical world above Earth. She has always studied about Earth, about large explosions that would happen every once in a while, and the rumor they had powers! She was always told not to go to エッジ, The Edge, where the clouds end and she could fall down to Earth. One day she ventures too far out from the City, and slips off the edge, and she lands in a dense forest in the United States, where flowers, vines and moss grow over her as she is in a coma for a whole year in the forest, and two unexpected people come and visit the states and find her there; All Might and Izuku Midoriya, where she begins her life on Earth, gains a Quirk, and lives a life she could only dream of in the City of Clouds!
