Bakugou is dreading the day that he will be forced to compete against others in one of the few Pairing Festivals that occur throughout the continent every year. Thousands flock to the kingdoms that host these Festivals, fighting for the chance to be paired with one of the most revered creatures in the realm. Dragons. During this Pairing Festival, contestants are put through a series of three trials that will or will not deem them fit to be a Companion to a dragon. The few that are chosen, are gifted with a life of royalty on the East side of the river. After all, nothing but the best can be given to the chosen one of a dragon. It is the life of luxury that everyone, young or old, dreams about. But Bakugou is perfectly content with life in his tribe. He can do what he wants, whenever he wants, and no one can hold him back. This all changes when his mother, Queen of the Barbarian Tribe, forces him to go. So, with nothing but a sword in its sheath, and a glare that could deter even the mightiest of beasts, Bakugou sets out to claim the heart of a dragon that never saw it coming.
So, uh, this is my first big piece of writing (lots of plot ideas) so any criticism is accepted. Also, Katsuki doesn't curse because I can't curse so. . .
