Remus Sanders, Thomas's cousin and sole reason for creating it at all, is the first-ever person to join. The purpose of the Home is to help those who live with whatever illness and learn to live a better more productive life. The goal is for everyone to leave eventually and no longer need the place. While there, they make several friends, and everything seemed to be as normal as it could be in a school full of kids with powers.
