Three high school students are picked for testing in ENergon Testing lab. The first is a small British boy with pink eyes. The second is a tall Spanish boy with wolf ears, a tail and no pupils. And the third, a scrawny American robot girl. I have a feeling that before I continue I have some explaining to do... You see, the entire country of Taured is almost like a prison, once you go in you can't leave unless you have proof you are fully human. The reason you can't leave is that there are people- No, creatures, called Taureds that, without the shock collars, will attack any human in sight. Taureds look like normal people, but they aren't, they're freaks. They can have anything ranging from fangs to humongous bird wings. This is why we hate them, that and the fact that they killed almost a quarter of the world's population in just about 2 months.

Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. All until the day the little girl walked out in front of the truck.
