Cher journal intime, aujourd'hui ce fut une journée très bizarre mais bien. J'ai voulu écrire dans ce journal pour que tu puisses apprendre à me connaître et aussi me confier à quelqu'un parce que c'est un événement qu'il faut écrire et ne pas oublier car je pense qu'il restera à jamais dans l'histoire de l'humanité ,ou peut être pas ?

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. Everything was going as planned in Brie's life till Covid-19 came. She was all set to go home, even got on a plane. But what happens when their stop over was the last destination they would go. She had no choice but to stay with the only person she knew in town. Charlie. Her brothers best friend, who she thought she hated but really, deep down always loved. Charlie had seen Brie since she was a toddler, always protected her and treated her like family. "I was not flawed, your faith was flawed. If You had faith in your heart for me, I wouldn't have to bear all that I did because of you" she said looking towards him who was sobbing infront of her. "I was very sad and angry at that time. All the evidence was against you and when I saw that condition of my mother I gone mad." He told her and raised his hand to touch her but she jerked away his hand in anger. "Please believe me.... I really love you" He looked into her eyes with the hope that maybe she might believe his words. "There was a time when I also expected you to believe in me but then you did not believe me and left me alone with my sorrow. Today I will leave you alone with your regrets and sorrows" She said angrily. She left from there. He Fell on the floor and took his face in her hand and started crying.

Behind the closed door, few people started struggling for food and feel people started fighting after having the food. Just like that, a couple in our story has a did. Signing the divorce papers, she walked out of his life gifting him a heartbreak. She left him in a lot of pain and walked out of his home. But little did she know that her ex-husband would be her new client. She expected him to hate her more but to her surprise, he was still madly in love crying for her. She was working as a manager in a top resort in Maldives and he entered as a visitor to attend his business meeting. What happened when they collided? At a peek stage when world was struggling to rebuild from disastrous virus attack the third wave slapped the economy again and the world declared emergency lockdown to control the spread of that contagious virus. What happens when they get quarantine in the resort together? Can he convince her? One the other hand a mysterious death happens leading to lot more disturbance and mystery... She planned to run away but he vowed to get her back, who will win? Or will they end with divorce or death? They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? I've written 3 anonymous online journals so far in my life. The first was as an adolescent, ending when, at 19, I commenced a long term relationship in which my partner had an issue with me writing about my thoughts and feelings in case they were about her. I also had to cease my other creative outlet - drawing. Because she felt it's abstracted nature hid secret messages about her. The second started when that relationship was coming to an end. I needed an outlet. I had nobody to talk to about what I was going through so I secretly started writing again. This is that second journal, when I was around 25 years old, which I've taken from it's retired blogger page and have transferred here. Part of the reason I am doing this is because my daughter, who was very young at the time of writing this, has expressed some curiosity about my journal. One day when she's older and has more life experience it might be OK to see what I'm writing now, but in the meantime, she can read this, a moment in my life for which she was present but that she could not understand at the time.
