Penda, Amina and Mashika had been friends since the beginning, and their lives had been full of joy and adventure as they learn more about their roles in the circle of life. Penda, daughter of Kiara and Kovu, was destined to be the future leader of the Lion Guard. Amina, daughter of Janja and Jasiri, was to be the future leader of the Outlands. Mashika, daughter of Makuu, was going to be the next leader of her float.
But suddenly, stakes seem to rise as it seems like someone was going after both the Outlanders and the Pridelanders. Around them, more and more Outlanders and Pridelanders got attacked and started to die off. These attackers seem to be slick and mysterious, as no one knew who was behind these attacks. But as attackers seem to get closer and closer to Queen Jasiri and Queen Kiara, these three future leaders must find out who's going against them before it's too late.
