The Jones family(the royal family) is embedded with secrets so dark the night fears them.
James is a young boy plagued with a disease called XP(Xeroderma Pigmentosum). Which is a degenerativee chronic disease that come with other disabilities. James' disease makes him unable to feel the sunlight or his cells will burn up. Having this disability James has never left his castle walls.
Kiki is James' half-sister. The Jones family found her in a cabin in the woods when she was little and decided to take her in not knowing there's more to her than meets the eye.
Jessie is their sister, a girl gifted with determination. She makes her life work finding out what happened to her lover "Mathias".
Klaus a hybrid who left New Orleans to look for greener pastures, it much reminds him of his home and he forgets all about his drag for power and decides to live among them peacefully denying himself the right to reveal his true hybrid self. He believes he has what he always craved a family.
