When Atem decides to remain in Japan with Yugi and the gang things soon turn upside down when Solomon Muto says his final goodbyes. With Yugi struggling to cope with the loss of his grandfather, Atem's left to face the real world and how hard living in the modern world is.

Author's Note: The shipping is Prideshipping (Yami Yugi/Atem x Seto Kaiba). I merged both anime and manga into this so there will be mentions not from the anime but by the manga. Also, this was published a few years ago on my fanfiction and archive account. After much consideration, I have decided to add on wattpad as another writing platform to publish my novellas. A sequel for this one is in the works, so be on the look out whenever that comes! In the mean time, I hope that you enjoy :)

The Third Brother, de AtticusDrekwall

Seto Kaiba narrates his life. From the orphanage to getting adopted and to later in life, read as action, adventure, friendships, brotherhood, and sadness pursues as Kaiba recalls past memories before finally showing you what's going on in the present time. This is not a boy x boy story. I wanted to say this since this story of mine has been added to guy x guy reading lists in the past even though it's not this kind of story. If you wanted to read a gay story, exit this and look for something else in that genre. If there are any gay undertones in this, it's completely unintentional. This story is about brotherhood. About the story, young Seto acts like Joey in this sometimes because his younger self reminded me of Joey a little bit, but don't worry. He becomes more like the Seto Kaiba we all know as the story goes on. I looked some cards up online for some character decks instead of making up my own monsters (except for a few) because I'm terrible at coming up with YGO! card ideas. This is based off the 4kids! dub. HIGHEST RANKINGS: #2 in flashbacks, #1 in Seto Kaiba, #1 in Mokuba Kaiba, #1 in Yugi Muto, #1 in Joey Wheeler, #1 in Yami Yugi, #1 in Yu-Gi-Oh!, #1 in Tristan Taylor, #1 in Téa Gardner, #1 in the big 5, #1 in some humor, #4 in orphanage, #31 in adoption, #89 in friendship #4 in shounen, #340 in family, and #1 in duels. I don't own 'Yu-Gi-Oh!'. I only own this book and any OCs (Taylor, Blake, etc..) used for this. 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' belongs to its original creator, Kazuki Takahasi. The cover picture isn't mine, but the editing is, and any picture or song I might use in this doesn't belong to me and belongs to their original creators except my own drawings. Please let me know if you recognize any art in this story so I can credit the owners.

[THIS BOOK IS BEING REVAMPED, PLEASE READ REVAMP CHAPTER FOR CONTEXT] Joey Wheeler, the protagonist of our book, found himself bloodied and bruised, seeking shelter in a dark and rainy park. He limped and almost fell against the trunk of a tree, its pink petals almost beautiful if it weren't for the sickening rain. Such a tall and beautiful tree. Joey felt as if he's intruding. He thought it was a sight for sore eyes; a beautiful thing next to something so disgusting. The pretty and captivating with the eye-sore. The rain grew dense and he felt as if ice cubes were falling on his neck and back. The tree tried its hardest to protect the boy, but droplets flew past soaked branches. He reasoned that this must be someone telling him that nothing can help him now. He closed his eyes and accepted it all. The cold, the pain, the wind on his face, hell, even the migraine growing louder in his skull... But the sound of strong footsteps is not one he expected. For legal reasons that I personally don't understand, I have to reiterate that I do not own Yugioh or the characters, this is just for entertainment purposes only. This fan fiction is full of yaoi, which is Male on Male homosexual shit, so if you don't like it, then don't read it. Images displayed in this book belong to their owners found on both Google and Pinterest, especially the cover, though edited. This is my first ever book that is currently being revamped, so please don't judge the shit in here because it will be fixed soon, I promise. Changes will be made after the book is published as such, so don't be shocked when something has changed. Thank you! Sayonara! :) 🥈#2 in Violetshipping April 2020 - March 2023 🥇#1 in JoeyxSeto August 2020 - April 2023 🥇#1 in Jonouchi December 2022 - March 2023 ____________________ 🏆#1 SetoxJoey December 2021 - December 2022 (Plan to reclaim soon ♥)

Yugi Muto and the gang have returned from their adventures in South America. Upon their arrival, the gang is introduced to Seto Kaiba's girlfriend, Karina Cecelia Pegasus. Karina befriends Yugi and become quite close to the Pharaoh only to discover her link to the ancient past and her key role in helping Atem save the world. Will Karina's feelings for Atem threaten her relationship with Kaiba or will the darkness rise and take over? *I own nothing from the Yu-Gi-Oh franchies. This is a fanfiction of the show. Until I find a better picture to represent my work, I will change the cover. For now, I do not own this picture either.*
