It is widely known by all the lands of the Kingdom of Ocrepan has always been ruled by the mothers and daughters of the Royal Family. The High Queen Ismenia and her Prince Consort Odo had 7 sons and wished desperately for a daughter to be named an heir. After preying to the gods in the Sacred Temple, the High Queen bore a child blessed by the gods. For they were another gender altogether, a rarity barely seen in the lands. They named them, Odette. Odette was so blessed, so God-Touched that they were sought out by suitors from the day of their birth. Ismenia's close friend and ally from a neighboring kingdom of Othaebia had brought even her own sons to see the new princette. Her youngest son, Prince Drek was simply unimpressed with the appearance of the Heir of one of the greatest kingdoms in the world. But their parents come up with a plan to make them fall in love as they grew older and to one day unite their kingdoms for good. But one scorned ex-lover was determined to ruin the kingdoms.
Tragedy struck one summer departure from the kingdom of Othaebia. The Royal Carriage held the dead Matriarch and Consort, but Odette was nowhere to be found.
Odette's 7 older brothers and every warrior for each kingdom scoured the lands for 2 years before finding them. The rescue and aftermath of the kidnapping was kept under strict silence, for Odette had been terribly cursed by the now dead criminal. The 7 brothers kept Odette in their kingdom and helped them to recover and grow. But Queen Vivian could no longer bare to be apart from her friends children any linger, and traveled with her own sons to Ocrepan to visit. They were not prepared for the truth of the tragedy.
