While celebrating Scorpius Malfoy's 18th birthday over Christmas holidays, the Potters, Weasleys, and Malfoy's quickly realize that their families' biggest pranksters Fred and Roxanne are missing. The families split up into three groups and are each given a floor to search. When Scorpius's group find the twins huddled around a shiny object, Scorpius immediately recognizes it. A time-turner! As the time-turner is being tossed to the other twin, Scorpius races to grab it before it hits the ground, but he was too late and soon the house is fifteen less.
