Terriana Gregston is a new-girl in New York, and has special, uncontrollable abilities pertaining a so called "Tesseract". This makes her a target to all those who have worked with this unlimited-power-source. When she joins those people, aka, the Avenger Team, she finds out they need her more than she realized. Later on, she meets an intimidating man named Loki, who had stolen the Tesseract. He is then captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. to find out what he plans to do with it. His plan deals with using Terriana's abilities for his own "good" work, involving a dangerous play.
