Mizu is desperate. Even though he farms rare plants in the sea, his family is poor because they always use the money on things like repairs, supplies and food. They need money, and a lot of it, to keep afloat. If he doesn't get that, then they'll have nowhere to stay. Kitty is scared. After being taken captive by the orcs, she doesn't exactly know what to do. Maybe they'll take her back to the kingdom that she ran away from. There's quite the bounty on her head, and evading the guards is her best chance to get away. When a random teenager gets thrown in with her, he convinces her to help him. Now she'll have to face her father's wrath when she gets back home. The monsters keep coming. Along with the weird actions of the people in the different kingdoms, monsters of all shapes and sizes seem to be chasing Mizu and Kitty, though they seem intent on simply Mizu. Now, on top of evading guards, they have to fight with these demons that just don't quite want to leave. Neither of them expect the outcome. When they get back to Kitty's home, the unexpected happens, and Mizu is thrust into an entirely different situation than what he thought. Now he doesn't know what to do as his life is on the line. When he finally makes a decision, he later realizes the mistakes that he now has to pay for.
