"You want to know why they call me Xavier Black princess?" Those cold, grey eyes stare into mine, for what seemed like forever, I stare coldly back testing him.

"Would it hurt you, if I said I didn't care" I look him up and down, amusement danced in those cloudy eyes, but not enough to show the reaction that I wanted.

Next thing I know, I am smacked into the lockers, the air from my lungs slowly escaping from my mouth, he looks at me almost getting pleasure from my struggle. I am held there as people stand and stare around us. He let's me go and I drop to the floor, holding my neck and I regain the oxygen that had just left me moment ago. I breathe in and out loudly gaining more attention from other students.

He comes down to my level "You princess, have started something you really shouldn't have" I stand up look him dead in the eye. I stand my ground which makes him raise an eyebrow at me.

"you think strangling me has scared me off, do your worst Black" I smirk and walk away leaving him speechless as I chuckle to myself, knowing I had got under that thick skin of his.

Meet Isabel. She gets along with most people, not super popular but she's not a wallflower either. Isabel doesn't need anyone else in her life not to protect her and certainly not Derek and his crew. She lives with her brother and father . They share a secret that could land them in jail. She can fight almost anyone and win, this girl kicks a$$. Yet Isabel has a past that features in her nightmares, making her afraid to sleep alone. --- "Hey?" I heard but didn't reply. "Hey!" I still didn't reply. A hand grabbed my arm and I twisted out of it on instinct. There was a glimmer of surprise in his eyes as I faced the last of the Five in the now almost empty hallway. Derek. Almost as tall as Mac. Black hair like the twins with ice cold blueish grey eyes. Same fighters build, six pack and all but not as soft as Mac or as feminine as the twins beauty. He was more rugged. I did understand the appeal of these boys but there were a lot of good looking guys on the swim team too and I did go with Jarred when he had fights. "You know we wouldn't let anyone hurt you right? Even if Jarred isn't around, we'll be here to protect you." I blinked. I blinked again. Nope, he was still standing there with the same serious expression. Derek, the unofficial leader of the Five, the boy every guy would want to be friends with and every girl would love to sleep with, was offering me his protection. I did the only thing that made sense in that situation. I burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard that I doubled over and when I glanced up at him I just cracked up again. He stood through it all without any emotion on his face, there was barely a glimmer of anger in his eyes. If anything I might have seen some surprise. I patted him on the arm and winked. "You. Are. Funny! I don't need you idiots to look out for me. But thanks for the thought." With that I quickly made my way to class.

He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

"I know what you're doing," I said, pointing my spoon at him and he cocked a curious eyebrow, "Is that so?" I nodded as I spooned more pudding into my mouth and straightened my back, "You're trying to intimidate me, make me spill my secrets. I have none so your psychology-ridden methods won't work on me." "I don't buy it," he grinned mischievously and I shrugged, "There's not a price." He walked towards me and placed his hands on either side of me on the counter, leaning in so almost our noses were touching. I cleared my throat and shook my head, "Elliott, you have to stop." A smile graced his plump lips as humor danced in his eyes, "And why's that?" I wriggled out of his stance and hopped off of the counter, eating another spoonful of the delicious goodness, "I want to see where things go with Dean. He's your brother so why are you doing this?" "Doing what?" He asked, knowingly. He asks so many questions. "That thing you do. That smile. Your touches. The way you look at me, Elliott, please." --------------- Cameron Moore, a troubled girl from a small town in England, flees her dark past and wounds up living in her sister's house in America to attend university. I hate you !

31 parts Complete Mature

Today is my first day of a new school , I'm so happy that I didn't think anything could go wrong......but it did because life's a bitch . I was walking the hallways with my stuff that I got from the guidance office and I bump into a wall....no, not a wall....a living, breathing human . "Watch where you're going." He angrily muttered . I knew that voice anywhere. I looked up and saw him there, he stood tall in black jeans and a white t-shirt, staring at the ceiling . "Well, well, well, hello asshole." I said, glaring up at him. His eyes widened. "What the fuck are you doing here?!" He asked me. "Apparently bumping into you." I said. "I hate you!" He said. "So do I, but you know what they say... actions speak louder than words." I said punching him square in the face. He fell down holding his jaw. "I hope it hurt." I said. Then I casually walked away like nothing ever happened, hiding my bruised hand in my jacket pocket. [COMPLETED]
