The sounds of dripping water echo through the black cavern. Dripping, and the labored breathing of the intruder. Several days ago he was simply removing a stump from his neighbors farmland when the ground gave way and he fell in the sinkhole. Only his racial ability of having low light sight allowed the feint glow of the phosphorous moss and slime on the walls to aid his trek in this endless void. he has traveled for many days now, not quite certain as to where he went, but he has to escape this tomb, his endless days of darkness.

'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-" "I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness. A terrifying, heartless mountain of water, swallowing the world . The tunnel networks? Of course, that won't save them. The forests? Like leaves in a breeze. The lookout towers and trade hubs? Gone.
