Annabeth had been through a lot of unbearable pain before. Being a half-blood, she had a lot of experience with pain.

But none of those could compare to this.

The emptiness- No. Not emptiness.

Heartbroken.

Grief.

Loss.

Not emptiness.

It hurt so much that it was worse than dying.

HE left a whole in her heart. The whole that he left was worse than Luke's.

And she hates HIM for that.

HE left her a scar that not even ambrosia and nectar could ever cure.

HE left her dying.

She wanted to kill herself. She wanted to cut herself. She wanted to plunge into the depths of Tartarus, curl up and die.

After everything she did to survive, she wanted to give up.

But she just couldn't.

He wouldn't want her too.

He would want her to stop hurting and move on.

But she just couldn't.

She was alive and dead at the same time.

That's how it felt when Percy Jackson died.

There was no moving on from Percy Jackson.

"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. End of the Line

56 parts Complete

Five years after Percy Jackson's disappearance, Olympus is falling, and their enemies are at a new height of power. Camp Jupiter has been destroyed and its inhabitants slaughtered, while Camp Half-Blood is facing problems of its own. After a kidnapping dangerously shakes the camp's morale, Rachel gives the first prophecy she has given in years - cryptic, yet it assures them of death. Meanwhile, Percy and Piper struggle to wrench themselves free of Pontus' grasp in the deep village of Agatha. Their time is running out like sand in an hourglass, and the axe dangling over their hands is lowering. Annabeth is broken, Jason is hurt, and the Seven are falling apart. They scramble to pick up the pieces as they sail across the Atlantic in search of their only hope: the spell to awaken Ouranos, primordial of the heavens before he was cut down by his son Kronos. In a mad dash to save the world, the Seven faces problems that could tear them down from the inside.
