In Nigeria, it's known to everybody that each and every family has it own tradition.

DAGGASH also has its, which differs from any other families of the Shuwa Arabs in that country

Being a member of the 'DAGGASH' was everything she hates in life, she regretted being brought to such a family that goes under the will and control of a selfish old lady

'AYYA'

She doesn't understand why must everything has to go just as Ayya commands?!! Can't they just live a happy life with no Ayya and her problems!! Is that a lot to ask for?!

It's a rule laid by Ayya , a rule that has been going on ever so long, which makes things more complicated.

She can't believe that Ayya is the one to tell her what to dream of and what not to! Her mates are down their in their graves and she's here trying to take control over their own lives.

The rule says "NO ONE IS EVER ALLOWED TO MARRY A SPOUSE OUT OF THE BOUNDARY OF THE DAGGASH" and what annoys her more is that Ayya is to match spouses.

That's not the only rule Ayya laid, there are many more others , she felt disturbed. Suffocated. Prisoned. Weak.

She wondered how her parents were able to go through all this, now that. She couldn't live her normal life.

Why must Ayya take her family's happiness for her own self satisfaction?!! Is she this heartless?!!!

If not for the sake of mama and baba, she'll have never stayed in such a disaster with Ayya torturing her life and all other members of the family.

[new version] • Malik & Rouhuh • Not all smiles make a happy person. Contrary to the misinterpreted fact that not all horns and forks make the devil. Sadiya Muhammad Yusuf. Having lost a father as well as a brother at her teenage years. Many might be striken of a thought as to eternal loss of those whom were meant to be the most important males in her life. It was not the defunct of any of them. Albeit with a sick mother, scales through all obstacles the universe had to offer - aiming right at the bullseye as a gynecologist. Right when she thought all was falling back into place, she loses her only confidante, supporter. Her only parent in the picture; dead. She never thought her life would be the same. But what happens when the person she convinced herself to loathe the most shows up after the past comes haunting her present? Royalty screams a lot. Power. Grace. Aristocracy. Fortitude. And most of all; Status. In the city of Yemen, comes no exception from the qualities of being Royal. When a prince by name, Zayan ibn Ahmer ibn Ayyub al-Qadim III, like a cliché, bumps into a lady shooting lasers at the man he finds her in the arms of. Nigeria had always been among his favorites, perhaps even more when all that shouldn't be said, was felt. Especially when he sets his eyes on her. Not the ideal incident, but enough to have his soul intertwined with her heart. Fatima Abdulmalik 2024. All Rights Reserved ©

Anger, pure anger and fear sipped through her veins threatening to burst out. She struggled vehemently to release her hand, but that only made him tighten his hand around her twisted arm. She cried out of pain but that only seemed to impress him. He smirked and said, "Mm, so fiesty?" He glared at her and pushed her against the wall. "You are evil Abdullah!" She almost shouted. Beads of sweat formed on her silk skin. Why was he making her life a living hell in her matrimonial home? She was supposed to live a happy life with her so-called husband, but instead, he is bullying her. "Just tell me, why?" She gazed at him confused wondering what he meant by that. "Why what?" She cried "Heh" he chuckled, "don't play dumb with me Kulthum. Just tell me why you chose him over me? What am I lacking? Huh? Tell me!" He shouted pushing her more against the wall. "Because you are evil! I never loved you in the first place, you are nothing worth loving" she spat as tears flowed down her beautiful face. As soon as he heard that, his face stoned up while his jaw clenched and his eyes became bloodshot. Such a sight she had never seen since she was married to him. "If I can hate you, why can't you, Abdullah?! I am so tired of this relationship, I can't do it anymore just let me go" With a dejected heart, he released her hand and whispered dangerously close to her ear, "If I can't have you, then no one will" He stumped off angrily while she slumped to the ground releasing a heavy sigh of defeat as tears rolled down her cheek. Since the day she got married to him, there had never been a day where she laughed for at least two minutes. All she knew at that very moment was that she was doomed! *completed but currently under editing*

Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

"Listen to me Qurratul Ayn, before you go, I want to know; did I ever offend you? Is my love for you too little?" I can feel his hand hovering over mine. He wants to hold it, but he knows better than to do that. "Please, I don't want to do this now. My flight is in thirty minutes." I can feel the tears wetting my Niqab. "No! I want to know. Where did I go wrong? Was it money? I didn't feed you well? I didn't clothe you? My love wasn't enough for you? I need to know, all those years! You're seriously willing to throw them away like they were nothing?" A sob breaks out but I manage to hide it behind a cough. I take a silent deep breath and turn, my Niqab swaying and making a whip sound. "It's not like, they really were nothing! Look, I don't have it in me to explain myself. You said you'd give me whatever I want? Then leave me be. I never loved you okay! I never did, it was all a sham, a facade!" His hand that was looming over mine falls limp beside him and he staggers back. "You're lying." He laughs. It's as if he's trying to convince himself. I scoff. "You think so? Well take a look at this." His eyes fill with tears and he takes one of his hands and place it on his mouth. He can't believe that it's actually true. "Okay, Fa'iza." My heart breaks. He never calls me that, ever. "I know something is wrong, and wallahi I'm going to find it out and bring you back to my house in six months. I promise." I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done. Absolutely nothing. * Ten years of loving, doting over each other and marriage, Fa'iza upped and suddenly said she wanted out of the marriage. After months of persuasion and blackmail, Bello let her go, but before she left, he made a promise. Would he be able to fulfill this promise? STARTED: COMPLETED:

They were only supposed to be acting, it should all have been pretense, so how dare she fall in love. Falling in love wasn't part of the agreement, but she wasn't really put in a position to go against her heart, not with the way his eyes looked at her as if he could see through her like glass, definitely not with the way his touch set her body ablaze. he could never be her's even though she was already his, and she was ready to let go and forget about him forever but fate had other things in store for both of them *** A few more years and he would be a free man right, no more of this bondage called marriage? but why didn't the thought make him happy anymore. Why was he always thinking of that Godamn woman he pretends to be married to, why did her smile make him weak?
