After a furious showdown with the King of All Evil, Princess Zelda tells Link that she is responsible for dragging him into such a mess. She tells him that she wants to send him back to relive his lost childhood, but Link makes a bold decision that will change the outcome of the terrible fate that was to be bestowed upon him.

Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them.
