Senior Standoff

This Prom Queen is winning out of spite.

Since the dawn of internet video, the AV Club of Van Buren High has hosted a reality show for twenty lucky seniors to compete for the coveted titles of Prom King and Queen. Self-imposed social outcast, Aspen Faust, has been dreaming of playing alongside her popular twin brother, Ky. But, she knows better. She lacks the social following to get anywhere near a nomination. So, when she's invited to play in a surprise twist, she's thrilled. At least until she realizes she was nominated as a joke.

Her teammate is apathetic stoner and her brother's arch rival, Asher Brandt. But even with the odds stacked against her, Aspen is determined to win. As the game takes off, she finds herself drawn closer to Asher, despite her brother's warnings. She's playing with fire allowing herself to fall for the guy who has no interest in a relationship, and she knows it.

No matter how much she tries to avoid it, the game pulls out the worst in everyone. With it unfolds secrets, lies, betrayal, and the loss of a trust she never thought possible. While everything falls apart around her, she's finding the change she so desperately craved, but at what cost? One thing is for sure: her life will never be the same.
