After the war there is nothing left for Draco Malfoy. His parents are in Azkaban and it seems like the whole school hates him.
Harry Potter on the other hand is the boy who lived AGAIN, and the whole wizarding world adores him.
Opposites you may think, but isn't the saying "opposites attract"?
If they cross paths again after the big looming "your-parents-work-for-the-man-who-wants-to-kill-me" problem is out of the way, maybe they have more in common than they originally thought.
