After the events of the 53rd killing game; Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko are finally set free from their cage and released into the Outside World. But something is odd, but something changed.
Utter darkness was the only thing Shuichi could remember.

It's been about a year since the thirteen of them woke from the living hell that was the Killing Game. Ever since, they've been living together in a strange new world where their old memories are next to meaningless. Kokichi still feels the effects of the game a year later; although, he only has himself to blame for not being able to get past his guilt. Still, he hopes to be able to, one day, feel like he has earned his place among the others and maybe even feel like he can belong. Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? And how will he do that? ーーーーーーーーーー Since this story is about 4 HOURS (I know, it's crazy), I decided to make it into a separate book because anyone (I know you're one of them) would be completely annoyed that it's a long story with only one page ;-; The previous one (with short stories and fillers): "Some DRV3 Stories," will only be for short stories and fillers ONLY, and not with long stories like this one.
