Shadepaw is a troubled apprentice, dealing with living in the shadow of her mothers dark past and dealing with being one of the outcasts in Mossclan. Shadepaw has always been different from the other cats, as she has different beliefs and ways of thinking. Mossclan's strict rules and customs cause Shadepaw to rebel against her clan and try to free herself from the restricted life in the clans.
