THE TRUE QUEEN

"She would make herself a reckoning, she would rise."

There is fear in the land, it has settled like a fog over those who don't know. There is talk of betrayal, talk of treason. They lock their children in at night for they don't know who will be taken next. They crave for blood to be spilled, her blood.
"The Queen must die!" they whisper in secret, but none would think of committing such a crime, for if they fail it will their heads speared on the gate.
But it has people thinking, it has people wishing. Those who want power, power over the rights of their people. That if the Queen was to die they would get the throne and be a hero! People within the castle walls are getting brave and soon almost no one will be trusted.
