It has been five years since World War 4 had ended. The sky remaining dark with smoke, the sun unseen. Everything had been destroyed by nuclear rays or has decayed. People started to change from the unknown fumes in the air. No one knows what these fumes are or if the effects are reversible. Very few people were immune to the fumes, the ones who aren't, well. They turned into terrifying creatures, with faces like rats and bodies tall, bony and blue as the once blue sky.

Once Bitten
The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. And the dead do not cry. 6 years have passed since nuclear war broke out, destroying the planet and killing most of the world's population. Different geographical regions have been affected differently, the climate mutating and transforming people into horrific monsters of all kinds. All contact was lost when the last human army was encircled and destroyed in the arctic, no human contacts have ever been reported since the last army. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. What needs to be done for a better world
