When Freya's hunky one night stand, Hoseok, becomes a regular occurrence, she finds herself catching feelings that she is not equipped to deal with. The domineering Seer worms his way into her life, and insinuates himself into her heart. And when the pressure of what she is, and what she must do, becomes too much?

She tries to push him away.

He clings to her, however. And as she loses the strength to keep the beast within at bay, Hoseok becomes ever the more determined to help her.

But there are some people that just can't be saved, and Freya has a bone deep suspicion that she might be one of them.

The actions of Hoseok's adopted daughter, Brianna, and her reaper lover, have sent the city of Seattle into an uproar. As if being a wraith was not troublesome enough, Freya must now dodge suspicion everywhere she turns. The Gods and their agents begin to move against the Immortal population, and humanity is slowly beginning to wake up, and notice.

What will she do when her very soul begins to unravel at the seams? On whose shoulders will she lean when the truth is so horrible, so revolting, even she can barely stomach it?
