monokuma decides to try to spice up the game in order to get better ratings and more viewers, so he adds in a new sort of...motive
he makes the students cast a vote- they must choose the worst (in their opinion) peer, and write down a punishment they should receive, as if they were a blackened. whoever has the most votes will have all of the punishments chosen for them combined and they will go through with it, but monokuma uses a special technique- he will inject the voted victim with a syringe filled with a liquid that will not allow the victim to die or fall unconscious. they will be forced to be awake the whole punishment.
and it isn't a wonder when kokichi ouma wins by majority.
