Clarence O'Leary, A Leprechaun, is determined to live his life as a free man. Unfortunately, the Council of the Light has other plans. After receiving an unwelcome letter, Clarence embarks on an adventure to the banned planet Earth that changes him forever. A life long supporter of the Humanists, he is offered a chance to escape his worries and visit a utopia where the Magical elite no longer exists. 
Earth is not the place he expected. Beaten and left for dead Clarence limps home with his hopes of seeing a better existence shattered, only to find that somebody has followed him back. Clarence knows that what he saw on Earth may threaten his own society. He tries to keep the Humans secrets, but the Council of the Light is closing their net around him for good.

Drawn to the Flame is the first in a series of books that see events conspire that shake the fabric of existence and force civilisations to collapse into chaos and war. It is a tale of addiction, loss, duty and finding the courage to do what is right, not what is easy.  

Travel to different worlds through the Stone Circle portals and witness the destruction of Earth in this gritty and original High Fantasy series with a sci-fi twist. Mervyn Peake, Robin Hobb, and Terry Prattchet's influences surround the Transworld Network whilst the beautifully flawed main protagonist; Clarence grounds the fantasy in a gritty exploration of the trials experienced by sufferers of childhood abuse.
