Romance
Emma is struggling to keep a tough face as her sickness worsens, after all, she'd been through a lot already, how much harder can this be? It can't be more painful than losing her mom right after her best friend moved away and having to put the pieces of her heart back together enough to fool her dad, who's struggling to provide for both of them and pay the medical bills too. But what will happen when Max, a boy who lives with his mom in a small apartment on the other side of town comes bursting into her world at the same time as her old best friend, Ryker, who's struggling to be the man of the house, comes knocking on her door? Will they break down her walls in time to save Emma, the girl who's trying to save everyone else, or will she keep them out and drown while she gives away her last breath to save everyone else? I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this story, it's really depending on if you guys want me to right now, so if you want me to continue this story, comment please. P.S. I made the cover, i might change it though.

After finding out her sister's engaged to her childhood best friend, she doesn't think it could get any worse... until she finds out her happily-married parents of 24 years are getting a divorce. She can't stand even being in the same room as one of her family members, so she does something she's never done before: she runs. The Big Apple has never seemed so small. At least, not to Jack and Lane, not when they were next to each other. Nothing seemed too big. Side by side, they could conquer the world. They could fly. But, if the world decides to fight back, whose to say they won't fall, instead? 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴.
