Have you ever done all the wrong things before? 

Well, Charles-or as he prefers to be called-Charli, has felt like he's messed up his entire life. That is, until he met someone by the side of the road. With his new best friend Pine, he settled into a rhythm, one that would stand for years. His failures even stung less when Pine was there. 

But his entire life was flipped on it's head after a semi-regular walk with Pine in the woods outside the city.

Can Charli uncover the truth he thought he always knew, can he find new friends-a new family possibly? Or will the higher powers take away the only happiness he has found and leave him to rot in the Briar?

Wow, it's been a year since I've started this story huh? And while it doesn't seem to be making progress, I've been making this better. And I'm going to keep making it better until it's ready to be alive and on it's own in the world!
