The dragons who live in the land of Chimor are much more rare than they used to be and they're having trouble rebuilding their numbers. More so, the humans of Chimor grew up on tales of their ferocity and anger, learning to do nothing but hate and fear their species. When opportunity comes for the humans to wipe them out, Ava must make a choice to save her new home or let it die. . . Warning. There is descriptive violence later on in this story.

All life would have been destroyed if not for the Dragon Riders, an ancient order that ruled before the Greencloaks. Traveling to the distant land of Alagaesia, they struggle to fit in to their new home, especially with the fourteen Dragon Tribes they brought with them causing constant conflicts with the native Dragons and other species of Alagaesia. In this short story follow the adventures of Baobab and Marula, the discovers of the Evertree; Raegel and Oak, the explorers of the Outer Reaches, and the first recognizers of the SilkWings and HiveWings; and Viserra and Lycaena, the original enemies of the Wyrm. This story will cover the history of the Wyrm's beginnings, how Erdas was formed, and how the Great Beasts came to be.

Even when growing up, Elia didn't fit in with the other girls. They would dress up in dresses. She wore cloaks. They would cook and sew. She would throw knives. They liked boys. She liked bows. Elia was a bit of an outcast to her village, with her striking dark brown hair that was always kept back in a fishtail plait, and her light blue/green eyes that seemed to change colour in the light. She had no parents, and at 16 lives alone, and breathlessly waits each year to watch the dragons during the Week of Xanithar, admiring the way they fly, wild and free. This year is her year of testing, at 16. The first of the four dragon riders to get to the village can claim it. The moment that dragon rider sets foot on the ground of your village, the emblem of that academy is hung from the flag and any new dragon riders in their village are the new students for the academy. Each village has 4 new dragon riders, this is the way it has been for years. Male or female they are claimed and tested to find the four riders a week after. The challenge for the dragon riders in the Week of Xanithar is to claim as many strong blooded villages as possible. And now it's her turn.

I made this when I was younger and decided to release my old work into this to the world. I didn't plan a storyline so this maybe have crazy tone shifts. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.
