Noah is driving his car to his death, he's ready to die. On his way to commit suicide, he thinks back to the years that have gone - the good times, and the bad. In the first book, Noah is seventeen. He has a messy (well, maybe more than messy) homelife and believes homosexuality is wrong, which further aggravates the knowledge that he is in fact gay. Between finding a friend to be honest with, to accept himself, to stand up to his abusive father, he still manages to fall in love with his best friend, who happens to be straight. And at the same time, he might be leading him on.

"And God, there are no words for how badly I want to." **** Noah was your all American boy.
