My name is Eva Maxwell. When I was 4 I started a fire, how I started the fire you may ask I put my favorite blankie on a heat vent and played in the other room, I didn't realize until I was outside but the fire department couldn't save my parents and they saved me first. I went in and out of foster homes. One day I finally got adopted when I was almost 6. I had a week until my birthday. I was playing outside with my tricycle. A man wearing a black hoodie with his hood up walked up to me and asked if I wanted candy. I was basically six, of course, I said yes. He put me in the car seat he had in his car and told me that we just had to go to his house to get the food. That's how it all started.
