As I was sitting on the bench in front of my apartment building. I was trying to stay focused on the sparkling stars in the night sky.
But I couldn't stop thinking about him. Scott Hunter ,the boy I met in middle school . The man I've been best friends with for the last 15 years. The guy I've had feelings for the last 15 years. But I've always known he was to good for me .
I shouldn't still be having these feelings. Especially since he's engaged with someone perfect for him.He's been engaged for last 6 months and everyone just thinks they're perfect for each other.
As I was thinking about the last 15 years and I was on the brink of just bursting out in tears.
I heard a loud engine in the distance.
It was Scott in his Jeep Wrangler,parked right in front of where I was sitting
Scott rolled down his window and smiled with his big beautiful smile,
And said
